Description and highlights of the glueless laminating machine

Since the invention, the glueless laminating machine has been widely used in the printing industry, packaging industry, plastics production and other industries, and its role here has not been neglected. Especially in the use of packaging is even more essential. Coating on the outsourcing of the product not only makes it look more high-end grade, but also makes the packaged product reusable. [ Thermal Lamination Machine ]  This not only saves costs, but also protects the environment better.

After the non-adhesive laminating machine is used, the surface of the composite printed product is bright, crisp, colorful, high in strength, waterproof and moisture resistant; it can be widely used in textbooks, books, calendars, cards, product samples, packaging cartons. Plastic molding is the ideal equipment for printing factories and packaging and decoration, American printing factories and professional plastics factories to improve the quality of printed materials and reduce the cost of the process. [ Thermal Laminator ] Manual, semi-automatic and automatic types can be customized according to customer requirements.

Film inspection before running the semi-automatic laminating machine

After the semi-automatic laminating machine is adjusted, the pre-processed printed matter is fed into a paper feeding mechanism for lamination, and samples are taken for inspection. Before the film is covered, a small amount of printed matter is used for inspection to avoid a large amount of waste. [  Semi automatic lamination machine  ] After the test is passed, large-scale production can be carried out.

The film inspection method is as follows:
1.
The semi-automatic laminating machine peels off the corner of the sample film which is completed by the film in the width direction, presses the paper, tears all the width direction, and after all tearing and tearing, if the surface of the printed matter is imprinted with the rubber layer The transfer of the fibers of the paper to the film indicates that the printed matter adheres well to the film and is a qualified product.

2.
Semi-automatic laminating machine put the coated sample into the drying tunnel, baking at 60 ~ 65 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes, if there is no foaming, no delamination, no wrinkles, is a qualified product. [ Manual Lamination Machine ] The film peeled off after baking should not be separated from the paper.

3.
The semi-automatic laminating machine takes the sample into cold water for 1 hour and then takes it out. If the plastic film and the printed matter are not separated, it is a good product.

4.
The semi-automatic laminating machine puts the sample on the creasing machine and presses it. If the concave and convex parts are not delaminated, it is a good product.

How to properly store white glue ?

                                Thermal Lamination Machine

01
Store before opening
Avoid glue exposure, rain (will reduce glue storage time, reduce stickiness)
Keep the room temperature at 15-25 degrees Celsius (storage temperature below 8 degrees Celsius will reduce the glue adhesion, below 4 degrees Celsius will lose the viscosity of the glue).

02
Stored after opening
Do not infiltrate other substances into the glue bucket, otherwise local clumping, discoloration and deterioration will occur. [ Automatic Thermal Lamination Machine ] There is no need to add water to adjust the quality, and the addition of water will reduce the bonding strength of the glue, so the paste effect will not be achieved. Seal the plastic bucket and plastic bag immediately after use according to the amount until the next time you use it again.

03
Storage after use
Clean the rubber bucket and plastic bag mouth and seal them intact, so as to prevent the dry film of glue remaining in the mouth of the barrel or the bag from falling into the glue, thus causing granulation. If it is not sealed, the glue will peel.
The pumping pump is immediately pumped into clean water to avoid accumulation of residue and gelation after solidification, which may cause blockage and affect production and use.

Guideline on How to Use the Lamination Glue

                                      Single-side Film Lamination Machine

Correct use
The glue placed statically for a long time will cause delamination and should be stirred evenly before use.

Wrong use
After using layered glue, the remaining glue will appear non-sticky.

Optimum bonding time
After the glue is evenly coated and reaches the applicable amount of paper, the roller is properly applied to the temperature to achieve rapid drying and fitting.

Optimum placement temperature
After the best temperature bonding, the product should be placed in a room of 15-40 degrees Celsius to achieve the best fit, no rebound, no layer (less than 15 degrees Celsius will reduce the paste effect)

Development trend of film lamination

The paper after the film lamination process is unrecoverable and becomes a white pollution, and toxic substances such as toluene and water are volatilized during the film coating process, which impairs people's health. Today, advocating "protecting the environment and protecting resources", the plastic film coating process has been eliminated in Europe and the United States, and European and American countries have even refused to import various packaging materials with plastic film. [ Thermal Lamination Machine ] Although there are water-based plastic film coating processes and hot-melt pre-coating film dry plastic compounding processes, the former still fails to solve the problem that the film printing waste cannot be degraded and cannot be recycled. The latter requires a large amount of heat in the production process and is discarded. The material needs to be separated in paper and plastic at 60 ° C, and the cost is high.

With the improvement of environmental awareness, new scientific and technological achievements will eliminate the old process products, so that the film process will undergo qualitative changes. "Non-toxic, harmless, green and environmentally friendly" naturally becomes an inevitable development trend of the film coating process. In addition, the glazing process is therefore optimistic. Glazing is a method of coating, spraying or printing to add a colorless transparent coating on the surface of the printed matter, that is, UV varnish. After calendering and drying, the gloss of the surface of the printed product is increased, and the stiffness is also improved. [ Thermal Laminator ] At the same time, the printed waste after glazing can be recycled or decomposed by itself, and does not pollute the environment. Therefore, glazing is a processing technology with great development potential, and it is possible to gradually occupy the plastic coating process market. Although the dilute machines used in oil glazing and alcohol glazing on the market are toluene and alcohol, respectively, which are harmful to the human body and unfavorable to environmental protection, water glazing has gradually become the mainstream of glazing process.[ Lamination Machine Manufacturer ] The water-based UV glazing process that has been developed so far is an ideal environmentally friendly glazing process and the development direction of glazing process in the future.

Factors affecting the quality of the film lamination

01
Print ink layer condition
Refers to paper properties, ink properties, ink layer thickness, graphic area and printed graphic density. [ Film Lamination Machine ] When the printed ink layer is thick and the image area is large, many paper fiber capillary pores are blocked, which hinders the penetration and diffusion of the adhesive, making the printed matter and the plastic film difficult to adhere, and delamination, foaming and the like are prone to occur.

02
environment humidity
Between the adhesive and the plastic film and the printed matter, as the relative humidity of the air changes changed the water content. Humidity-sensitive prints can cause internal stresses due to dimensional changes. For example, the longitudinal expansion ratio of the printed matter is 0.5%, and the longitudinal heat shrinkage of the BOPP film is 4%. If the water absorption of the printed matter is too large and the elongation occurs, and the internal stress is caused between the heat shrinkage of the film, the film product may be curled, wrinkled, and bonded. [ Fully Automatic Lamination Machine ] Not strong. In addition, in a high humidity environment, the equilibrium moisture value of the printed matter will also change, and a large amount of moisture absorbed from the air medium will be released from the surface during the hot pressing compounding process, stagnating at the bonding interface, and partially forming a non-adhesive bond. phenomenon. Moreover, the change in the equilibrium moisture value of the printed matter (moisture from the air medium or dehumidification into the air medium) occurs mostly at the edge of the printed matter, so that it forms a ruffled edge or a tight edge, and is not easily formed well with the film in the hot press composite. [ Automatic Lamination Machine ] The wrinkles are caused by the bonding, so that the production cannot be carried out smoothly.

03
temperature control
Heating can soften the film and bond the paper to the plastic film. However, the temperature is too high, the film is easy to break, which seriously affects the quality of the product. Therefore, measures such as fan cooling and turning off the heating wire should be adopted.

How large is the lamination strength ?

Refers to the bond fastness between the plastic film and the paper (board) print in the film product. The size depends on the adhesion between the plastic film, the paper (board) print and the adhesive (or hot melt adhesive). [ film lamination machine ] When laminating, the adhesion is mainly derived from the mechanical bonding force and physico-chemical bonding between the plastic film, the paper (plate) printing article and the adhesive (or hot melt adhesive).

Fully Automatic Thermal Film Laminating Machine

The key to film fastness is the affinity of the glue to the print (ink and substrate). As a film coating industry, printing inks are not selectable, that is, only the film that is suitable for the ink market is the only choice, so as a pre-coating film, it can only be regarded as high quality by adapting to the performance of all inks.[ lamination machine manufacturer ]. The composite strength of the coated product is affected by the process parameters in the film production process, such as the temperature, pressure, speed of the coating process, the coating condition of the adhesive, the film tension and environmental factors. At the same time, it is affected by the printing process, such as the surface state of the printed product formed after printing, such as the thickness of the ink layer, the area and distribution of the image, the characteristics of the ink, the use of the thinner, the use of dusting, and the drying of the ink layer.
